While resumes may be submitted for future needs, there are no open positions for coaches at this time.
Coaching provides a valuable way for educators, particularly retiring administrators, to work part to full time to assist schools and school districts in the process of continuous improvement. Coaches are independent contractors.
The WSLA team of coaches works with district and school leadership teams with foci on continuous improvement and on instructional leadership that leads to significant increases in student academic achievement. The coaches also may serve as instructors of the Washington State Leadership Academy curriculum.
Most coaching work will be in developing and sustaining district-wide support systems. If you are interested in joining the WSLA coaching cadre, send a letter of interest and résumé to the Washington Association of School Administrators (WASA) at the following address. E-mail applications are acceptable; contact WASA at 1-800-859-9272 for more information.
