Cathy Benedetti, Academy Coach

Cathy Benedetti, M.Ed., is a district coach for the Washington State Leadership Academy. She is also the Director of Teaching and Learning for ESD 105, as well as an adjunct professor for Heritage University in the Educational Administration Program. Cathy serves as a District Improvement Facilitator as part of her work at ESD 105.

Cathy graduated from the University of Washington, received a master’s degree as a Reading Specialist from Central Washington University, and earned her administrative credentials there as well.

Cathy began her career as a teacher in the Seattle School District. After moving to Yakima, she was a teacher K–8, reading specialist K–12, middle school vice principal, and elementary principal. Cathy is always excited about working with schools and districts to improve teaching and learning.
