Jay Hambly, Academy Instructor

Jay Hambly is an instructor for the Washington State Leadership Academy.

Jay has spent over 36 years in education as a teacher, principal, and district administrator culminating with a highly successful career as superintendent. Jay continues his passion for education as the Faculty and Program Coordinator for the Educational and Executive Leadership programs at City University of Seattle.

In addition to the university work, Jay is a partner in Professional Services NW, a consulting firm that provides efficiency and effectiveness studies for the operational side of school districts.
