Kris McDuffy, Academy Instructor
Kristine McDuffy, Ed.D., has served 28 years in public education. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from Western Washington University and her doctorate in Educational Leadership from Seattle University.
Dr. McDuffy started her career as a business teacher and later became an assistant principal, principal, and superintendent. She also has extensive experience in preparing school and district leaders through Western Washington University’s Educational Administration Program.
Kris served as director of the Educational Administration Program for WWU for five years and was instrumental in the startup of their Superintendent Certification Program. Kris is in her eighth year as a superintendent, currently serving as superintendent for Arlington Public Schools. She enjoys working collaboratively with staff, students, parents and the Arlington community to help ALL students achieve their full potential "every child, every hour, every day."
Kris and her husband Rob have been married 33 years. They were both raised in Everett and have one son, Ryan.
