Brent Morrison, Academy Coach

Brent Morrison is a coach for the Washington State Leadership Academy. A long-time student of leadership, Morrison seeks out opportunities learn from others and facilitate the change process.

Morrison left the Lake Chelan School District in 2005 after serving as the high school principal, assistant principal, athletic director, math and science teacher and athletic coach for many years. Chelan High School is one of the highest performing schools in the state with similar demographics, due primarily to a culture of high expectations with individual student support, and exceptional teachers.

Since leaving Chelan, Morrison has worked with North Central ESD in school and district improvement and mathematics leadership. He currently serves as the district improvement facilitator for the Wenatchee School District.

Morrison is a graduate of the University of Washington and Central Washington University, and completed graduate work at Gonzaga University.
