Bill Lahmann serves as a coach for the Washington State Leadership Academy in ESD 112.
His 41 years in public education includes a unique set of experiences—teacher, mediator, legislative analyst, association executive, assistant superintendent, and superintendent in the Eatonville, South Kitsap and Olympia school districts. Bill was selected to serve as a National Educational Policy Fellow in Washington, D.C. Drawing on his local, state and national experiences, Bill has been recognized as a strong educational leader throughout his career.
Providing equitable, educational opportunities for all students and creating alternative learning options within public school systems, have been hallmarks of Bill’s career. In addition to his strong commitment to district early learning programs, he also led in the development of a model community early learning program, Success by Six, with United Way of Thurston County.
Bill is an active member and leader with Rotary International, United Way, and many other community and civic organizations. Since his retirement, Bill served as an interim Executive Director for Cascade Mental Health Care and currently serves as a Hospice volunteer.
